Using The Demo

First create a new transaction. This is located under the "Transaction" link. Enter any information you want into the form. Please do not use your real email address, as emails have been disabled in this demo and this will also eliminate spamming. Use one of these product IDs: 001, 002 or 003.

Once your transaction has been created, you can see it under the "Transaction" link. Open the other demo script (Download Demo) and try to download your new product. You can also notice that you cannot download this product file directly. You need to use the download link to enable the download. Test this by trying to download this product using this link:

In this demo you will only be allowed 3 attempts to download each product. After you have reached the that limit and upon your next attempt to download, you will receive a message notifing you that you have reached this limit. In the admin demo you can reset this limit by updating the product ID. This is located under the "Updates" link. When you update a product, the script will reset the number of times a product has been downloaded in each transaction related to this product ID and will also send an email to each of those customers.

You can search transactions by transaction ID, email address or product ID. This is located under the "Search" link.

You can also see how many total times a product has been downloaded. This is located under the "Downloads" link.

In this demo, the "Errors" link will always say: Currently, there are no transaction errors! This is because the Pay-Pal posting script is not available to post errors. This posting script only works when Pay-Pal notifies this script of new transactions. This is not possible to test in this demo.

The "Logout" feature does work, however you will be able to hit your back button and still continue to use this script because session IDs have been disabled in this demo.
